HOPE
idea, text, set and costume design, music concept, director and performer: Petar Miloshevski
HOPE is the story of a man whose ex-lover returns 10 years after an unexplained disappearance, in the hope that they will be able to recreate their previous life together. But in the intervening years, another lover had turned him into a damaged, unhinged soul, forcing him into a decadent life of orgies and pills, to which he complied 'only to make his tired and sad eyes smile'...
It is a beautiful piece of theatre that merges intelligent text by Arseny Tarkovsky, Buchner, Dukovski, Shakespeare, Chekhov, Strindberg and an eclectic range of performance styles inspired by David Lynch, Ingmar Bergman, Michael Chekhov and Jerzy Grotowsky, creating a provocative and insightful dramatic event that touches the human soul and an intense theatrical experience.
