THE EQUINOX ARACHNID

Devised, directed and performed by Petar Miloshevski

Puppet builders / Costume design: Macy Jane Doyle & Marielle Doyle

Creative consultant: Alexander Whittenberg

Sound design: Chandler Anderson

As an amalgam of Kabuki, Bunraku and Noh, Petar Miloshevski creates a contemporary fairytale — both haunting and soothing. The Artist, descending from its Rapunzel-like safe tower, embarks into a world where perpetual conflict sounds are tearing apart the chambers of comfort. How do we brake away from the cobwebs of our own making? When do we grasp that the impeccable beings we aspire to become is just a burden, and by pealing off every layer of our angsts and dreads, we can finally rise and look towards the light in an absolute ecstasy for the approaching inevitable bliss.
